Norman, nicknamed Norm, is a Diesel shunter and has a twin called Dennis. He works and lives at the Sodor Dieselworks. He breaks down very often.
Bio[]
Norman was one of the Diesels who took over the Sodor Steamworks in 2011. He later laughed at Flynn for not being able to rescue Thomas. Norman offered Thomas a place to sleep at the Dieselworks when the turntable at Tidmouth Sheds was frozen. He also told Percy that Sidney had been on his hoist for two years and was there when he was given his new wheels.
Persona[]
Norman is a Diesel engine who often breaks down. If he were fixed properly, he would show what a Really Useful Engine he is. He wants to be liked by all the engines so he does his part at the Dieselworks and follows all of his orders. He is friends with Dennis, Paxton, and Sidney.
Basis[]
Norman is based on a type of Bulleid Diesel, "No. 11001". Dennis is an other member of this class.
Livery[]
Norman is painted rusty red with yellow horizontal stripes along his sides towards the cab and a grey roof.

- Unlike the other engines, Norman also has a prominent unibrow as opposed to two individual eyebrows.
